Poor leadership makes it easy to get swept away in the chaos

Have you ever been so absorbed in a sporting event that you feel absolute disdain for every team but the team for which you’ve given your loyalty? All other teams become “the enemy.” It’s “us versus them” and away we go getting caught up in the stress-building, tension-inducing feelings that have us cursing at our television sets and claiming life to be unfair every time our team blunders or the other team scores. We’ve convinced ourselves that our team has to win because the heavens see it our way, too.
